Staying in Philly!

Mr. Doodlebug got offered a job at the organization for which he works now. After being overlooked for a different position there he applied for this job weeks ago and he was told today that he will be able to stay in the Philadelphia office and continue to work indefinitely for his current employer. It is quite a relief to know that we won't have to sell our house or buy a new one or relocate. It's nice to know that the research we've done on schools in our area will not be in vain, that the improvements we've made recently to our house will not be for nothing (in this market we certainly wouldn't get much of the money spent back when we sold the house), that we can continue to grow the friendships we've made here, even baby Doodle's friendships. For more than a month we have wondered if we were going to be uprooted and now we know we are not. Congratulations Mr. D for being such an awesome employee that the just couldn't afford to lose you.
