Appel Farm Music Festival

We went to the Appel Farm Music Festival today with two other couples and their kids.  We had a picnic lunch and dinner and saw some good bands (David Wax Museum and, of course, Josh Ritter, were my favorites).  There were plenty of activities for the kids (moon bounce, crafts, puppet show, man with a monkey act).  We chose a spot near the open grass so the kids could run around and Mr. D and Doodle could play catch, which they did for a while.  Doodle played with his "rookie" team this morning and he was in the mood to work on his fielding skills.  He caught 36 of 50 balls Mr. D threw. 

Doodle was excited to hear Josh play a number of songs he recognized.  His favorite from tonight's set was Temptation of Adam.  He danced and ran around with his friends.   A good time was had by all.
